Computer College
We are currently fundraising to start a computer college at Tabarak, utilizing space within the office. The goal of this project is to help expand access to education opportunities. We have already completed the construction of the classroom area and wired electricity to each desk setup.
Our goal is to gather used, refurbished, or donated laptops to bring to Kenya in the next year. If you have any leads, suggestions, or donations we would love your support. Your help makes it possible for the Tabarak Orphanage children to have a proper education, computer skills, and a better chance at obtaining a future career.

02
Solar Power

As we implement the computer college, a major cost increase will be electricity bills for the orphanage. Electricity bills have been a consistent financial stress for the orphanage. To help allow them to utilize their income towards the children's education and other expenses, we want to install solar power to help lower their overall costs of electricity.
Previous Projects

Building the Office
Our main project in 2023 was to build an office space at Tabarak Children's Home. The purpose of the office is to allow the Tabarak staff and social workers to complete necessary administrative work to place children into safe, loving and healthy foster homes.
This project required construction, painting, furniture upholstery, internet instalation, security gates, and more. The area outside the office has computer desks prepared for our future computer school project.

Tailoring School
A large priority for the World of Opportunity Foundation is to make lasting impacts with our charitable efforts. During the construction of the office, we saw an opportunity to construct a tailoring college at Tabarak. As tailoring is a popular profession in Kenya, attending a tailoring college is a good way to get a head start into a career. We purchased a total of 8 sewing machines to not only provide a free education for the children at Tabarak- but to host classes for the community and start creating a self sustaining income for the orphanage. We hope that the tailoring colleges income will soon be able to reliably pay the orphanages electricity bills.
